Connecting ChatGPT / Claude to CloseUp ("My smart agents")

Ask ChatGPT or Claude about your leads, and let them create tasks and notes — with the permissions you choose.

Steps

  1. 01

    Connect

    Personal settings›Connections›Connect an agent

    Personal settings → Connections → My smart agents → Connect an agent. Choose ChatGPT, Claude or another.

  2. 02

    Add it in the agent's app

    Copy the MCP address and add it in ChatGPT/Claude as a connector / MCP server.

  3. 03

    Approve permissions

    On CloseUp's approval page tick what's allowed:

    • Read: leads, notes, tasks, meetings, AI insights.
    • Write: Create task · Add note · Change lead status.
    Note: The agent sees only what you can see, but writes happen without further approval.
  4. 04

    Control it

    Each connection: Pause · Resume · Disconnect · Extend.
    Agent design — alerts, Morning briefing, report style, extra instructions.
