Mobile and desktop notifications
Get CloseUp alerts on your phone or computer, even when CloseUp is closed. No app store download needed.
CloseUp sends notifications through your browser's built-in push service, so there is no app to install. Each user turns notifications on for each device and chooses what to hear about.

Choose what you hear about
On the same card, under What to notify me about, pick the categories you want:
- New and returning leads: a new lead arrives or an existing lead comes back.
- A lead was assigned to me: someone else assigns a lead to you. Moving several leads at once sends one notification.
- Incoming lead messages (WhatsApp, Instagram, email): a burst of messages from one lead becomes one notification.
- Call and meeting reminders: when a follow-up reminder is due, and 15 minutes before a meeting.
- Lead deletion requests and decisions: requests waiting for your approval, and decisions on requests you sent.
You only get notifications about leads you are allowed to see. CloseUp checks this again at the moment it sends.
Lock-screen privacy
- By default the lock screen shows a generic message only, with no lead details.
- To see the lead's name, turn on Show the lead's name on the lock screen.
- Phone numbers, email addresses and message text never appear in a notification.
Test your notifications
- Send a testTap Send test notification. It goes to every device you connected.
- Check that it arrivesIt should appear within a minute. If it doesn't, check the device's notification settings and Do Not Disturb.
- Tap itTapping a notification opens CloseUp in the right place. If your session expired, you sign in first and then land on the target.
Turn off or remove a device
- Turn off on this device stops notifications on the current device. CloseUp does not turn them back on by itself.
- Under Connected devices, click Remove to remove a device.
- Signing out stops notifications on that device.
- Each user can connect up to 10 devices. Adding more removes the oldest.
Good to know
- Plain tasks without a time of day do not send notifications. Only follow-up reminders and meetings do.
- On iPhone, Focus and Low Power mode can delay notifications. This is device behavior.
